Paul at The Wenns

Love Try Neighbour Interview #2

Paul Turner The Wenns Chop & Ale House

What's the Wenns all about, and what do you love about King's Lynn?

"We reopened in February 2020 for a few weeks before lockdown, after completely renovating it into the Chop & Ale House, which is referring to the kind food that we are serving: hearty meals with a chop or steaks and having a nice range of real ales available to our customers. We tend to be getting relaxed families during the day and couples and smaller groups in the evenings for drinks…"

"I have lived here all my life so I know King's Lynn quite well. It's a nice friendly town, the old part of the town that we're in now is very idyllic. There's also always something going on, with lots of events put on by the council - like the festival two… And we've got wonderful venues like the Corn Exchange that have a multitude of different things for different people on throughout the year."

St. John's is a friendly Anglican church in the Walks, King's Lynn, Norfolk.
