For the community

St John’s was founded in 1846, as The Church for the poor.

Today St John's is a beacon of hope in the community with events and activities going on most weeks. As well as our work in the community we also offer cradle to grave traditional services including BaptismsConfirmationsWeddingsFunerals. For more information contact our friendly team.

St John's gives the highest priority to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and the PCC has policies in place for the safeguarding of each.
